The University of Central Arkansas has added a trip to Kansas State in Manhattan to its football schedule for 2017, UCA athletic director Dr. Brad Teague has confirmed.
Teague also said UCA is in contract negotiations with either Auburn or Missouri for games in the 2016 season.
As soon as the 2016 negotations are completed, the Bears will have "money" games against NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision opponents for the next five years. UCA is a member of the Southland Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision of Division I.
Payouts to UCA for the upcoming FBS games are as follows:
2013: Colorado, $390,000
2014: Texas Tech, $425,000
2015: Oklahoma State, $375,000
2017: Kansas State, $400,000
