Three University of Central Arkansas softball players have been named to the 50th anniversary All-Southland Conference softball team.

Twins Melissa and Melanie Bryant and pitcher Kelsie Armstrong were named to the elite group.

The Southland developed a metric that measured real-time honors throughout the league’s softball history that dates back to 1983. A premium was placed on first-team all-conference selections, individual honors, season and career statistics, and postseason success. In addition to the four-time all-conference choices, the all-time team also includes 11 players who were named to the all-conference first team on three occasions, and 45 players who were two-time all-Southland picks.
