The Conway Christian baseball team posted its second shutout in as many days, as the Eagles blanked Rose Bud 15-0 Tuesday.

Conway Christian plated nine runs in the first and six more in the second. The game was called in the bottom of the third due to the run rule.

Lance Nail struke out five and allowed just one hit in two innings on the mound. He was also 1-for-2 at the plate and scored twice.

Kirby Powell was 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI and his first home run of the season. Jake Fitts was 2-for-2 with an RBI; Jacob Calloway 1-for-2 with three runs scored; and Jackson Hogue and Tanner Stevenson both scored two runs each.

The Eagles will host their first Eagle Classic this weekend. They’ll take on South Side Bee Branch at 7 p.m. Friday in the first-ever night game at Conway Christian. Arkansas Bapist and Quitman will also be included in the event.
