After defeating Nemo Vista in straight sets last week, Conway Christian’s volleyball team lost, 25-19, 25-21, 25-17 Tuesday night.

"Although we lost to Harding Academy, we played better than we have played all season," CCS coach Brittany Newberry said. "Harding is a great team and fun to play. We made some needed adjustments for this game to make us better, and I feel it’s a step in the right direction. Nemo Vista was a win we needed. They played tough and were great on defense." 

Morgan May had eight kills against Harding Academy, while Olivia Meriweather and Payton Cope had four. May had three blocks with Andrea Howell and Meriweather having two each. Emily Hills led with 21 digs. May had three aces and Hill two. Summerlin Criswell had two assists.

The Lady Eagles downed Nemo Vista, 25-18, 26-24, 25-19.

May and Meriweather each had seven kills while Payton Cope added six and Robbi Riggs and Howell four each. May, Howell and Cope each had two blocks. Hill led with 34 digs. May had six aces and Meriweather and Cope three each. Criswell had 32 assists.
