VILONIA — Vilonia surged to a 25-16, 25-22, 25-17 victory over St. Joseph in vollebyall Thursday night.
For St. Joseph (0-2), Meagan Briggler had 10 kills and served 18 of 18. Sydney Spradlin added 14 assists and Madeline Moix had four blocks.

Conway’s golf teams prevailed twice in dual matches Thursday at Conway Country Club.
Parker Rice and Austin Smith shared medalist honors in leading the Wampus Cats to a nine-hole victory that included the four top scores from each team. Rice and Smith had 36s as Conway prevailed, 147-171. Tanner Bezet added a 37 and Chase Netherton and Carson Roberts, 38s.
Other scores for the CHS boys were: J.P. Wade, 40; Lincoln Hill and Josh Walker, 41; Grayson McEowen, 42; Austin Tate and Luke Baker, 43; Grant Risinger, 44; and Tyler Star, 52.
Summar Roachell’s 33 led the Conway girls to a 125-154 victory with the three top scores from each teams counting. Tristan Jenkiins added a 45 and Alexis McDaniel a 47.
Other scores for the CHS girls were: Emily Lock, 49; Morgan Clark 51; Anna Turner 56; Allison Ellen and Savannah Brown, 59; Meghan Smith, 60; Bryann Lea, 70; and Grace Moore, 78.
