Fayetteville took the top spot in the final Arkansas Associated Press high school football poll after winning its second consecutive Class 7A title. Class 6A champion Greenwood was second and 5A champion Camden Fairview was fifth, and both finished first within their own classifications.

Bentonville entered the playoffs ranked No. 1 and finished third in balloting by AP-member sportswriters and broadcasters. North Little Rock was fourth.

Pine Bluff finished sixth after losing the Class 6A title game, Fort Smith Southside was seventh, followed by Springdale Har-Ber, Conway and El Dorado.

Stuttgart, Harding Academy and Junction City won titles among smaller schools.

Greenwood, Camden Fairview and Harding Academy finished the season unbeaten. For the second year in a row, Bentonville’s only loss was in the Class 7A title game.
