LITTLE ROCK — Greenbrier, in the first year of its wrestling program, placed sixth in Class 1A-5A last weekend in the state high school wrestling tournament at Arkansas-Little Rock.

The Panthers amassed 114.5 points. Maumelle won the title with 288.5 points.

Conway finished ninth in 6A-7A with 126.5 points. Bentonville won that division with 254 points.

Dylan Watts, of Conway, lost the state title match by fall at 113 pounds. Grant Webb, of Greenbrier, lost the state championship match by decision. Jacob Webb, of Greenbrier, lost by fall in the state title match at 120 pounds.

In consolation round matches:

Coltin Morgan of Conway won the fifth-place match at 132 pounds by fall.

Ryan Ennis of Conway lost the third-place match at 152 pounds by decision.

Ben Hughy of Conway lost the third-place match at 182 pounds by decision.

Justin Vinson, of Conway, won the fifth-place match at 220 pounds by decision.

Wyatt Daniel, of Greenbrier, lost the fifth-place match at 113 pounds by decision.

Hunter Goss lost the third-place match at 145 pounds by decision.
