SILOAM SPRINGS — The Conway Lady Cats reached the finals in tournament play at Siloam Springs with a 60-36 win over Wagoner (Okla.) on Thursday.

The Lady Cats’ pressure defense led to 20 steals en route to their third straight win. With the win, Conway (7-4) will take on host Siloam Springs at 6 p.m. Friday in the championship game.

"I thought we did a real good job defensively," Lady Cats coach Ashley Nance said. "Our pressure defense was the difference in the game. We didn’t score off the turnovers like I would have wanted, but we were able to play our style and get a big win."

Nine players scored for Conway, led by Enjonae Chambers’ 14 points. McCall Wilkins and Claire Hobbs had 11 points each, while Madison Foster finished with 10.

Friday’s game will be the last nonconference contest for the Lady Cats, who open 7A-Central Conference play at Cabot on Jan. 6.
