Conway volleyball coach Laura Crow has had only a handful of three-year starters.
She proudly watched one of them, Sara Stovall, sign the papers Tuesday to continue her career at Arkansas Tech.
Stovall had 850 career kills and 107 career blocks and a career hitting percentage of .265.
"It’s not easy to start three years in this program; she was strong at the net from the beginning," said Crow. "She was all-state as a sophomore, then got hurt her junior year and came back strong for us last season."
Stovall led the Lady Cats in kills her sophomore and senior seasons and was second in 2011. She helped the Lady Cats to a 68-15 record and three conference championships during her career.
She earned all-conference, all-state and all-state tournament team honors in 2012. She was all-conference in 2011 and all-conference and all-state in 2010.
She plans to major in occupational therapy at Arkansas Tech.
"I loved the campus there and the people were super sweet," she said of Tech. "It was exactly what I was looking for."
