The Greenbrier volleyball team notched a pair of 5A-West Conference wins this past week.

"We had a great tweek with two very important conference wins," Greenbrier coach Cindy Hartman said.

The Lady Panthers (3-4, 2-2) defeated Huntsville 25-12, 22-25, 25-17, 25-22 Thursday.

Kari Gibson was perfect in serving, going 21-for-21, including three aces. She also added five kills and 15 digs. Hannah Porter was 15-of-15 on serves and had 27 assists and 15 digs. Haleigh Barnard finished with 17 digs, while McKenzie Neumeier chipped in 16 assists and 14 digs.

Greenbrier also won the junior varsity match, 25-13, 25-10.

Haley Hilliard (seven-of-seven) and Savannah McNabb (five-of-five) were perfect on serves.

On Tuesday, the Lady Panthers defeated Harrison 24-26, 25-19, 22-25, 15-13.

Porter was 27-of-27 serving and added seven kills and 23 assists. Sam Tillman served 20-for-20 to go along with 18 kills, 21 digs and three blocks. Brittany Merritt finished 16-of-16 serving and had 21 digs, while Kari Gipson had 14-of-14 serves with five kills and 20 digs.

In the junior varsity match, Greenbrier took a 25-19, 25-17 win.

Lexi Livingston was 16-for-17 on serves. Hilliard had seven digs, while Hayley Heacox finished with five kills.
