The Greenbrier Junior High Panthers defeated Searcy, 37-18, Thursday night. 

Will Drewry scored on the first play of the game on a quarterback sweep, then passed to Connor Thompson for the conversion.

Drewry then passed to Ryan McNight for another touchdown and connected with Thompson again for the conversion.

Cole Shaw scored the third touchdown on a 35-yard run. Sam Colbert kicked the extra point. Drewry scored the fourth touchdown on a 5-yard keeper. Colbert added the extra point. Shaw ran 60 yards for the final score with Colbert kicking the PAT.

Defensive standouts, according to coach Blake Benton,  were Kyle Ferguson, Joey Burger, Jacob Cummins, Tyler Bush, Ethan Edwards, and Tristan Cochran. 

The panthers will play at home Thursday against Russellville West.
