   
Toads hop for the Championship Race

 Kids were lining up early for the annual Toad Suck toad races that were held at 10:30 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. at the Toad Dome in the parking lot of the District Court building.
The toad gates were flooded into the streets as eager toad racers waited for their turn to show off such speedy toads named Toadstar, Gepetto, Butterfly and Big Daddy Don Garrett. Toad Master Brian Ratliff said that the racing toads will get some rest this evening, kicking back with their favorite movies "The Fly" and "Toadal Recall."
Races will commence again at 1:30 p.m. today with finalists from the General Races coming out for the Championship Races at 2:30 p.m.
Winners from Friday were Peyton Mitchell, Jackson Goodwin, Hayden Goodwin, Chris Markle, Caleb Markle, Kaylee Schumaker, Anna Leser, all of Conway; Jaycie Studivant of Vilonia; Circa Mathis of North Little Rock, Hunter Wilson of Little Rock; and Madelyn Rives of Madison, Miss.
On Saturday winners from Conway were: Avery Quick, Michael Henderson, Abby Woods, Julia Turner, Sacha Herrir, Whitney Wood and Harmony Etherton.
Winners from Vilonia were: Kellie Walker, Alyssa Herndon, Dayton DeBoard, Allie Latch, William Marcotte, and Nathan Rappold. Winners from Conway were Blake Bradshaw, Brody Wilson, Miranda King, Max Boudraux, Camden Normine, Cole Slone, Allie Latch, Cade Swindle, Nicole Lewis, Sam Reeves, Mason Lordess, Andrew Grider, Chloe Robertson, Rileigh Bush, Hanna Barton, Lindsey Stamps, Shena Duke, Haley Scroggin and Blake Wienke. Winners from other places were Carlos Morales of England, Jacob Cantrell of Guy, Hannah Burroughs and Gavin Mode, both of Greenbrier, Payton Grace of Cabot, Shelby Brown of Maumelle, Devin Jones of Morrilton and Cross Engel of Sherwood.
