
   
Conway student graduates from Professional Develpment Institute at UA
Scott Howell from Conway, a freshman accounting major in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, graduated from the university's Professional Development Institute.
The institute is a career development and training program, designed to enhance student professionalism and to prepare students to present themselves successfully for job interviews or when applying to graduate school.
The Professional Development Institute program consists of career-building workshops, guest speakers, and innovative activities sponsored by the University of Arkansas Career Development Center.
The graduation ceremony was held Wednesday, April 23, at the Arkansas Union. Howell received a certificate of completion, a letter of recognition from his college dean and a set of business cards. Howell is the son of David and Beverly Howell and is a graduate of Conway Christian High School.
