Henry Brooks Hines, 72, was born Dec. 23, 1953 in Fox, to Emery and Eula (Branscum) Hines. He entered into to rest May 5, 2008, at his residence in Jackson, Tenn.

He was a construction contractor.

He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Miller of Bonner Springs, Kan; sons, Steve Hines of Southaven, Miss., Roger Hines and Keith Hines of Choctaw; Shannon Hines of Norfolk, Va; one brother, Delmar Hines of Greenbrier; one sister, Lou Surles; five grandchildren; three great-grandsons and other relatives and friends.

His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

A private family memorial service is planned for a later date.
