A summer weekly book study at First United Methodist Church in Conway is being offered to help participants feel as if they have been "fed spiritually" every day around lunch time.
The study, to be led by Sue Higgs beginning June 4, is "A Tree Full of Angels" by Macrina Wiederkehr, O.S.B. She is a member of St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith, directs retreats and workshops throughout the United States and is the author of many books. This is one of her most popular books; she teaches us the art of seeing the presence of God in the midst of our daily activities
The study will be held at noon every Wednesday in Room 214 through July. Going on vacation this summer? Don't worry; you can still be a part of this study. Everyone is welcome. Bring a sack lunch and we will stop at 1 p.m. for those who work. There will be a schedule of what to read each week for those who are traveling.
Sue Higgs will be leading the study, with the possibility of Sister Macrina coming to lead the study one week.
Contact Stacy Crone at scrone@conwayfumc.org or call her at the church office at 329-3801 to reserve your spot. The church is at 1610 Prince St.
