Vilonia is the preseason favorite in 5A-West, according to the inaugural football preview of ArkansasSports360 Magazine.

In addition, Vilonia lineman Tyler Stauch is on the magazine's preseason All-Arkansas team and is listed among the state's top 50 seniors. Eagle linebacker Ross Estes joins Stauch on the 5A-West team and is also listed among the top 50 seniors. Vilonia running back Aaron Oade is listed makes the magazine's list of top "gamebreakers" and also one of the "Players to Watch" in 5A.

Vilonia is ranked eighth in the state in 5A by FearlessFriday.com

In conference predictions, Conway is picked seventh in 7A-Central, Greenbrier eighth in 5A-West, Mayflower second to Harding Academy in 3A-2 and Conway Christian seventh among nine teams in 2A-5.

Greenbrier is rated as a "sleeper" team in 5A-West and Conway Christian, playing its first season of 11-man football, is rated as a "sleeper" team in its conference.
