Wade W. Finley, Jr.

Wade W. Finley, Jr., 34, of Cabot died Thursday (July 19, 2001).

Born April 9, 1967, in Little Rock, a son of Wade W. Finley Sr. of Lonoke and Helen Whitley Finley of Little Rock, he was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church, a Son of the Alamo and a major in the Marine Corps Reserve in which he was the executive officer for India Company 3/23 at Camp Pike in North Little Rock. He was president of Collins Creek Farm Inc., secretary of Farmcat Inc. and a partner in Finley Brothers and Sons Farm. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School and the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in management and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa.

He is survived by his parents and his stepmother, Diana Finley of Lonoke; his wife, Amy Roper Finley; one sister, Dawn Tirman of San Anselmo, Calif.; grandmothers, Halogene Mason of Wooster and Christine Thomason of Lonoke; and a great-grandmother, Ola Glover of Wooster.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. today at Cabot United Methodist Church with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley. Arrangements are by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
