The West Memphis Police Department is seeking information concerning a missing person last seen in Conway.
Clifford Eugene Pinkston, a 45-year-old white male, was last seen eating at the La Hacienda restaurant on Skyline Drive across from the Conway Towne Centre shopping center at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Pinkston was heading from West Memphis to Jasper, a city in northwest Arkansas, to visit a friend, Capt. Donald Oakes of WMPD said. When he did not arrive as expected, the friend immediately contacted authorities.
The man was making the trip on a silver and white 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle with license plate OZ208. Oakes said he was unsure of which model Harley Davidson it was, but said it was not a Sportster or V-Rod.
It is also unclear which route Pinkston intended to take from Conway to Jasper.
Oakes said Pinkston has a stable life and stable employment; nothing indicates that he would have intentionally dropped out of contact with friends and loved ones. Several attempts have been made to contact Pinkston on his cell phone over the weekend, and all have "pinged" a cell phone tower in the Faulkner County area, indicating that his phone is also in the area.
He is described as being 6 feet tall and about 160 pounds with brown eyes, balding brown hair and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing denim clothing typical of a "biker."
Anyone who may have seen Pinkston, or may have information as to his whereabouts is requested to contact the West Memphis Police Departments Dispatch Center at 870-732-7555 or 870-735-1210.
