The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today to discuss the best possible steps to take to find the next university president.
The meeting will take place in the board's conference room in Wingo Hall and was called to determine a process for selecting the next president of UCA following the resignation of Lu Hardin, which was effective Sept. 16. Tom Courtway is serving as president during the interim.
The UCA Faculty Senate, the UCA Staff Senate, the UCA Student Government Association, the UCA Foundation board and the UCA Alumni Association will be invited to comment on a draft policy to be considered by the UCA Board of Trustees.
