No, the location is not Fort Worth or Amarillo, Texas, but just right off sixth Street in Conway, where the ladies and gents are playing Texas Hold 'em so a lot of needy children will have that Christmas that they otherwise would not have.
"We had a great turnout, and everyone here had a lot of fun. Even though, there can only be one official winner, everyone here is a winner, all 58 players and 16 Sponsors", president Tracy Stocks said. About, $6,000 from the proceeds will be utilized to by Christmas presents and warm clothing for the needy children of Faulkner County.
The third annual Make A Child Smile (MACS) poker tournament is put on as a principle fundraiser for the MACS Christmas Children Project of Faulkner County. MACS, a 501(c )(3) non-profit public charity, holds the fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus Hall in early November each fall.
