Among reports recently released by the Conway Police Department:
1. Disorderly conduct, Faulkner County Library, 1900 Tyler St. Officers were called to the library by an employee who stated that a patron had been caught looking at pornographic material on the library computers. When the officers arrived at the library, the suspect was standing outside waiting to be picked up by his mother and told the officers that he was sorry. When the officers asked him what he was telling them he was sorry for, he advised that he had been "looking at stuff on the computer that he shouldn’t have been looking at." The suspect also advised that he was mentally disabled and that his mother was coming to pick him up. The suspect was advised that he could not come back to the library for at least a week and he was released to his mother. No further action was taken.
2. Burglary - residential, 1700 block of Tyler St. Officers were called to the residence by the homeowners when they discovered that the back door to their residence had been kicked in. The victims stated that both of their lap top computers had been removed as well as $2 in pennies that had been scattered on a table. An incident report was filed.
3. Burglary - commercial, Holiday Inn Express, 2330 Sanders St. Officers were called to the hotel by an employee who stated that a computer from the business center had been stolen. The employee advised that she didn’t notice the computer was missing until a guest asked if there was a computer available to use. The employee advised that the owner had surveillance tape that he would review and give to the officers if it showed the theft. An incident report was filed.
