Her peers are lavishing kudos on Megan Ryan for her nomination as personal trainer of the year at the Conway Regional health and fitness center and establishing herself as a prime fitness specialist.

Ryan, a slip of a girl whose demeanor and personality belie her intellectual force and stamina, offers herself daily in all aspects and ranges of fitness. Reflecting on her life’s aims, Ryan says, "I always have been active, involved in several sports and dance for as long As I can remember, but it wasn’t until my sophomore year at El Dorado High School that I discovered that I wanted be a personal trainer. My mother hired a personal trainer for both of us to help with our fitness goals and to instill in me the importance of health and fitness."

"I’ve always had a passion for helping others which makes this job I have fun and rewarding, seeing people achieve their fitness goals and the difference in themselves; hearing my clients say they note a difference in the way their clothes fit and the way they feel."

Ryan has been employed at the health and fitness center for about five years, coming to the center after graduating from UCA with degrees in kinesiology with emphasis in exercise science and in family and consumer sciences with emphasis in nutrition.
