LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock Police are investigating a homicide on the 2600 block of Elm Street.

LRPD responded to a 911 call just after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night.

Upon arriving on the scene police observed an unresponsive black male lying in the middle of the intersection. The victim suffered a gun shot wound to the right side of his face. 

Officers spoke with a resident in the area who said he was unaware of the incident, and had not heard any gun shots.

The victim was transported to UAMS and pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

This is an ongoing investigation.
