Last Chance Ministries to host open house

 

Last Chance Ministries will host an open house on Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Last Chance House is open to women who are addicted to alcohol and drugs who are homeless or seeking refuge. 

There is no cost to be a part of Last Chance Ministries. It is a faith based, non-profit organization. 

There will be a Brush Arbor Church Friday night at 7 p.m. and Sunday services at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Brush arbors are live gospel singing and karaoke services with old time preaching. 

 

Church to pray 

for area children

 

Conway area churches are coming together to pray Sunday at 4 p.m. at the steps of the James H. Clark Auditorium, at the Conway High School West Campus.  We will pray for all Conway schools, administrators, faculty, staff, and students.  

We invite you to join us for the success of Conway’s greatest and most important resource – “Our Children!”  

The Conway Ministerial Alliance care about the children and young people of Conway and their success this 2009 – 2010 school year.

Vilonia church 

to hold yard sale

 

Vilonia Church of the Nazarene will be host to Bargains Galore, Aug. 13, 14 and 15. The Church will have an inside sale in the Family Life Center.  We will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 13 and Friday, Aug. 14. Saturday hours are 7 a.m. - whenever.  Items are too numerous to mention, except to say we have been blessed with donations!   

As a fundraiser our Men’s ministry will have a pancake breakfast and will also be serving hamburger and hot dogs for lunch on Friday and Saturday only.  The Women’s ministry will be selling our new cookbooks.  Proceeds will go towards the Family Life Center.  Additional vendors will be set up on the Church lawn. 

Growing in Grace program planned

 

Growing in Grace, a free parents night out for families with children with special needs will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church on the first Friday of each month. 

The first night will be Oct. 2. Early registration will be Sept. 18 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

All children must be pre-registered to participate. Siblings will not be accepted. Participation will be at the directors’ discretion.

True Holiness to host Crawley


True Holiness Saints Center will be hosting its Annual Fall College Day 2009 Back to School program on Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. during their morning worship service. Featured guest will be Sunday’s Best season two winner Y’anna Crawley followed by a thought provoking message by Pastor E.C. Maltbia entitled “My Top Priority.” Immediately following the service, students will have the opportunity to meet community leaders during a meet and greet reception and vendor fair in the Family Life Center.
