Five area students were recognized during the recent 2013 Honors Day Convocation at Hendrix College.
Michael Glen Nollen, of Conway, received the Ashley R. Coffman Wind Ensemble Award. Nollen is a senior chemistry major at Hendrix.
Mollie Elizabeth Long, of Conway, received the E.W. Martin Memorial Accounting Award. Long is a senior accounting major at Hendrix.
Justin Cole Murdock, of Conway, received the McHenry-Lane Mathematics Award. Murdock is a freshman student at Hendrix.
Todd Wayne Richard, of Conway, received the Vivian Hill Drama Award. Richard is a senior economics and business major at Hendrix.
Elizabeth Ann Williams, of Conway, received the Vivian Hill Drama Award. Williams is a senior theatre arts major at Hendrix.
