Central Baptist College will begin demolition on the old men's dormitory, Williams Hall, at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Crews will continue working throughout the day into Thursday.

Williams Hall was constructed in 1964. It was named for the former chairman of the CBC Bible Department, Errol Williams. At that time the Rev. A.R. Reddin was president of the College.

A new residence hall is nearing completion at CBC and will open to students this fall. Dickson Hall is the third of 10 major construction projects called for in the institution’s Vision 2020: A Miracle in the Making capital fundraising campaign.
