LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The local high school head football coach accused of having a sexual relationship with a student pleaded not guilty in court Friday.

William Hardiman, the suspended football coach at Parkview Magnet High School, faces a charge of first-degree sexual assault.

Police say Hardiman had a sexual relationship with a student during the 2014-2015 school year.

A police report filed by Parkview Magnet High School’s Principal, Dr. Dexter Booth, in May, details an anonymous letter he received in the mail. According to the report, the letter outlined an alleged inappropriate relationship Hardiman had with a female student during the 2014-2015 school year.
