LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Little Rock Police Department confirms charges have been dropped against an Arkansas state representative arrested after filming a traffic stop and subsequent arrest.

Rep. John W. Walker, 79, was arrested on one count of misdemeanor obstructing governmental operations Monday.

On Tuesday, those charges were dropped. No details have been released at this time about why those charges were dropped, but police are expected to release more information later Tuesday.

Channel 7 has a FOIA request in for the dashcam video from police, but have yet to receive the video.
