SCOTT, Ark. — Police say a woman was found alive near the Arkansas River after being kidnapped during a home invasion near Little Rock.

KATV reports that Little Rock Police found the woman early Christmas morning. According to a police report, the woman said she was thrown off a bridge into the river and then swam to shore. Police say she's hospitalized for hypothermia.

The woman told investigators she witnessed a shooting at the home she was taken from. Lonoke County sheriff's officials say one person was killed and another wounded victim has been taken to a hospital.

The woman alleges one of two men who kidnapped her was Richard Gilliam. He's at Lonoke County jail on charges that include capital murder.

Authorities are searching for the second suspect.

Online jail records don't indicate an attorney for Gilliam.
