Lauren Elizabeth Austin and Matthew David Erion, both of Conway, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Hugh and Wrenetta Austin of Conway and the granddaughter of Maxwell and Lorene Dyer of Conway and Houston and Carrie Austin of Monticello.
She is a 2002 graduate of Conway High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. In 2008, she earned her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is an accountant for Conner and Sartain CPA firm in Conway.
The prospective groom is the son of George and Barbara Erion of Conway. He is the grandson of the late Earl and Rose Erion of Little Rock and the late Bill and Hazel Hollingshead of Little Rock.
He is a 1995 graduate of Conway High School and a 1999 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders. He earned a master’s degree in speech and language pathology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001. He is employed at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Morrilton as a speech pathologist.
A 2 p.m. wedding at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Conway is planned for Sept. 19. Friends and family are invited to attend.
