Daniel Lankford of Conway recently joined the staff at the Log Cabin Democrat in the retail advertising sales department.

He is a native of Conway and has been an active member of the Army National Guard, detachment 1/206 Field Artillery Unit, for three years. Lankford attended the University of Central Arkansas where he studied business and served in a leadership capacity in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He participates in local softball leagues and enjoys following high school and college sports.

Nikki Murdock, rodeo promoter, has taken a position as a membership coordinator for Air Evac Lifeteam. She lives in Greenbrier and serves the Faulkner County area.

Air Evac offers memberships that provide prepaid protection against AEL air ambulance cost that is not covered by a member’s insurance or medical benefits.

Before promoting the pro rodeo in Conway, Murdock was owner and operator of Murdock Quarter Horses Inc. at Springhill, where she taught riding lessons, held summer camps for children and ran a horse boarding facility.

She is a multicultural stylist specializing in Multi-Dementia color and the latest trends in hair cutting, razor cuts and perms for the whole family. The salon is at 3900 Dave Ward Drive, Suite 2000.
