Donna Marie Trammell
Donna Marie Trammell went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009. She was born July 16, 1934, to the late llus and Florence Davis Provence in Cold Springs, Okla.
After graduating from Old Main High School in North Little Rock in 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Jim Trammell, on May 7, 1954.
She was a devoted army wife as Jim served in Korea, Germany, California and Texas. They settled in Mountain Home where Jim and Donna were proud owners of the Jim Trammell Insurance and Real Estate Agency in Mountain Home.
Alongside her husband, she volunteered for numerous church, community and school projects, but her true life’s focus and joy was taking care of her family. She and Jim moved to the Wooster community in 1992, where they continued to serve the Lord at Wooster First Baptist Church.
After her children were grown, she enjoyed a career as a legal secretary and semiretired from the law firm of Worley, Wood and Parrish in 2007. She is preceded in death by her best friend and beloved husband of 53 years, Jimmy Trammell.
She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Linda Keiser of Conway and Teresa Sziszak of Greenbrier; her precious grandchildren, Grey Keiser, Kelli and Evan Sziszak; sister, Phyllis Nutt of Little Rock; brother, John Provence of Little Rock; and a host of admiring friends and family.
Visitation will be held tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Wooster First Baptist Church on Friday at 10 a.m.
Memorials may be made to the Faulkner County Humane Society in tribute to her faithful companions Sweet Pea and Dixie.
