Robert Earl Perrygin, 76, of Conway passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 at Conway Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 3, 1933, in Huron, Tenn., to the late William C. and Ollie Estelle Perrygin. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joan Perrygin, and two brothers, William Cloyce Perrygin and Snooks Perrygin.
Robert served his country in the Army during the Korean War, the Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring from the Air Force on July 1, 1974. His awards include the Bronze Star and Air Force Commendation Medals. He was a Vehicle Maintenance Technician most of his working career.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jacqueline Ann Perrygin; five children, Danny E. Perrygin of Blytheville, Patricia Ann Mayberry, Sandra Lee Childers, and William Forrest Perrygin, all of Conway, and Gina Renee Perrygin of Blytheville; seven grandchildren, Levi, Candace, Joshua, Justin, John Daniel, Pete, and Nick; and by four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Pastor Billy McPeake officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
