Juanita ‘Nana’ Stone
Juanita "Nana" Stone, 87, of Conway, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Heritage Living Center. She was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Henry and Ava (Lairmore) Buddenberg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Stone; and a sister, Anna Marie Odom of Mayflower.
Mrs. Stone was a member of First Baptist Church at Mayflower. She was a retired waitress, and had worked for Hank’s Dog House in Little Rock, and The Pink Palace, also in Little Rock, and had worked for the Mayflower School District in the cafeteria. She also loved to fish.
Survivors are her children, Ron Ferguson and wife Carolyn of Morrilton and Judy Bright and husband Bill of Conway; grandchildren, Terri Bright, Regina (Brad) Eggebrecht, Ben (Amanda) Bright, Craig Ferguson and Tiffany (Jeremy) Landon; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Loetscher of Little Rock and Henry Etta Cataldo of Des Moines, Iowa; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, 327-7727. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
