Conway resident Ken Fairless has announced his candidacy for the Faulkner County Quorum Court District 7 position.
Fairless, a Republican, said in a news release that he pledges to "stay in touch with the needs and wants of my constituents and make sure that I reflect their views.
"Faulkner County is a very special place that faces a lot of challenges in the coming years both financially and in population," Fairless’ release continues. "Conservative use of what resources are available is all-important. If elected I will do my best to provide that type of guidance."
Fairless is owner and operator of Controls and Power, representing various electronics manufactures. He holds a BA in business management from the University of Memphis and has served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He is chairman of the Friends of the NRA of Faulkner County and serves on the board of directors of the Arkansas Rifle and Pistol Association.
