WYNNE, Ark. (AP) — The arraignment is set for a man charged in the bludgeoning death of an elderly woman inside a Cross County church.
Rene Patrick Bourassa Jr. will appear in court at 9 a.m. Monday. He was arrested in Bremerton, Wash., on June 10, four days after the attack on 80-year-old Lillian Wilson at the Central United Methodist Church on U.S. Highway 64 in the Hamlin community.
He has been held without bond at the East Arkansas Regional Correctional Facility at Brickeys. Bourassa will be represented by the state public defender's office.
