Greenbrier middle school students will hear about Civil War sites that have reputations for being "haunted" during a presentation May 23.
The Department of Arkansas Heritage will present "Arkansas’s Haunted History," a program exploring folklore and ghost stories attached to historic Arkansas buildings and sites, at the Greenbrier Middle School. The discussion will focus on Arkansas Civil War sites, according to a Friday news release.
Amanda Sobel Driver, education coordinator for the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, will present the program. She will also provide information on historic preservation and local history.
