Ashton Samuelson, owner of Pitza 42 has released the following statement announcing that Pitza 42 has raised 100,000 life-saving meals.

"Today, it is with great excitement, that the Pitza 42 family announces that we’ve reached 100,000 meals toward helping end world childhood hunger since opening in September 2011. The people of Central Arkansas have been so supportive of us and this milestone is less about our restaurant and more about them and their embrace of our mission. Thank you so much for your support. The goal was to reach 100,000 meals by our one year anniversary in September. It’s incredibly exciting to have reached this milestone much earlier than expected."

Pitza 42 and its customers have an exciting opportunity to help end childhood hunger around the globe. The strategy is simple; PITZA 42 will donate the funds necessary to Feed My Starving Children to purchase one meal for every meal that is sold in the restaurant. In essence, every meal is for two people (42).

"This is only the beginning," says Ashton Samuelson. "There is a lot of need, but it’s exciting to see the mission of Pitza 42 working and having an impact. Pitza 42 is founded on a unique business model and we are celebrating the fact that a restaurant can have a real impact on childhood hunger around the world."
