The fall semester at the Conway Adult Education Center began Monday, Aug. 20, at the center’s new location at 125 Center St., but students can still register for new computer training classes until Friday, Aug. 31, or until classes are full, according to a news release.
Course offerings include: Intro to Computers, Windows 7, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, QuickBooks, Photo Editing, "How to Keep Your Computer Running Smoothly" and Internet/Email. Students must register before attending these classes.
Also, the center has classes available to students needing GED, ESL, or WAGE Job Training Skills. Students do not need an appointment to enroll or attend classes for these particular programs.
In other news, the center will have an open house for the community 3-5 p.m. Sept. 12. People are encouraged to drop by and visit. Plus, the center is planning another job fair 10-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3.
