FORT SMITH (AP) — Two Arkansans have been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison each for what prosecutors say was a work-at-home scheme.

U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge said Tuesday that 68-year-old Sharon Henningsen and 64-year-old Timothy Donavan — both of Rudy — were each sentenced to 135 months in prison on Friday.

The two were convicted of mail fraud for a scheme in which prosecutors say people nationwide sent them about $4 million in order to buy materials that Henningsen and Donavan said could be used to stuff envelopes for profit.

The two were convicted in June 14 of one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and eighteen counts of mail fraud.
