Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Jones Jr. entertained a number of friends informally last night at their home on Duncan Street. Holiday decorations were used throughout the interior and dainty refreshments were served. Harold Bux of Hot Springs was among the guests.

Dean Cox was winner of a replica of a 1903 Oldsmobile Saturday night at the new Kroger store, Bob Grill, manager, announced. Cox is a retired Conway taxi operator. Other winners in the drawing included Chris Dussex, television set; Mrs. G.W. Covington, girl’s bicycle; and J.E. Neeley, boy’s bicycle.

Georgia Stubbs, 6, daughter of George Stubbs and Patricia McNair of Conway, recently was named overall winner in the photogenic and most beautiful categories in the petite division of the Christmas Sweetheart Pageant held at the Beebe branch of Arkansas State University.

Miss Stubbs received a crown and jewelry box for winning the photogenic title, a crown and trophy for the most beautiful title and a doll for being first alternate in the petite sweetheart beauty division.

Miss Stubbs also will complete in the state Sweetheart Pageant in June. She is a first-grader at Ellen Smith Elementary School.
