Miss daisy Dickerman will teach a two-hour reading course for Faulkner County teachers beginning Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The fee will be $4 per credit hour or $8.
This is a convenient way for teachers to make two hours credit for renewal of their certificates or to apply on their degree, B.G. Harrison, county examiner said. There will be 12 meetings.

Carlston (Red) Berry, 29, former manager of Radio Station KVEE in Conway, has been named to the same position a second time.
Berry assumed the position Oct. 7. He succeeded Orville Jenkins as manager. He will also be in charge of all sales at the station.
Berry was manager of the station until May of 1962 when he assumed a position with a Tulsa, Okla., advertising firm.

Mrs. W.C. Ferguson of Conway and Dora Baldridge of Shreveport visited Saturday and Sunday in Williamsburg, Ky., where they attended a reunion at Cumberland College. Mrs. Ferguson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Meadors, was recognized during a memorial service Saturday where she was presented a medallion and ribbon in honor of her father, who was a graduate of the college.

Several middle school students recently participated in summer etiquette classes. Classes were held at the homes of Lori Barfield and Laurie Horton and were taught by Betsy Newton, all of Conway. Those attending were Maribeth Barfield, Callie Bowling, Kate Dodge, Beth Dykes, Kaleigh Gray, Brandi Horton, Emily Moore and Samantha Townsend.
