Mayflower United Methodist Church Plans Concert

The people of Mayflower United Methodist Church request that the public saves the date of Sunday, Dec. 22, at 3 p.m., to attend a concert called "The Angels Sang."

This is an original compilation of scripture and music performed by the compilers, Rick and Francy Wilkins. The Wilkins began compiling this concert many years ago in honor of Rick’s parents. Rick and Francy have performed this concert for more than 10 years. As noted before, it is a compilation of various scripture passes interspersed with hymns, both old and new, all reverently presenting the Good News of Christ’s arrival. They will continue this year presenting it at Southridge Village in Conway. This concert marks the final performance for the year.

Both Rick and Francy realize that God has given them a gift in their voices and they want to honor that gift by sharing it with others as much as possible. The performance will be held in the church sanctuary. The church is located on Miller Street (Highway 89 South) in front of the Elementary School in Mayflower.

For more information, call Rick Wilkins at 501-442-5045.
