Nancy Selig, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Selig, was named winner last night of the annual beauty revue at Conway High School.

Miss Selig was chosen from among 15 contestants from the sophomore, junior and senior classes at the school.

Margo Gibson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hays Gibson, and Marilyn Woodward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Woodward, were named runners-up. The new queen will be featured in the 1964 Wampus Cat, the school’s yearbook.

Pvt. Kelli K. Thompson, daughter of Arnold A. and Joyce H. Thompson of Greenbrier, has completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

Pvt. Thompson is a 1982 graduate of Greenbrier High School.

Conway Jaycees community vice president Lorrie Payne-Smith presented the club’s Outstanding Community Business Partner award to Lori Case of First State Bank in recognition of the business’ outstanding community service. The award was part of the club’s recognition of National Junior Chamber of Commerce Week, which was established in 1929 to celebrate the founding of the organization.
