Good morning my brothers and sisters, I greet you in the name of Jesus. I pray and hope everyone had a good week.

John 3:16 is a very familiar scripture in the Bible. I believe everyone knows it; if not, it reads: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

My brothers and sisters, every time I read that it lets me know God really loves us. Who else would send their son to die for this world? I know I wouldn’t. God sent Jesus to die for each and every one of us, He not only died but He got up out of that grave so we can have eternal life with Him in Heaven. I don’t know about you but I thank Him each and every day of my life for what He did. You see, He didn’t have to do it but He did and I think we should give Him glory and honor. Amen.

God really wants to have a relationship with us, He wants us to be His sons and daughters. God doesn’t need us to be God, we need Him. I often think where would I be without Jesus. Now ask yourself that same question, if you are honest about it. As I look back over my life I think about all the bad things that I have done and the bad things I’m doing today.

I’m here to let everyone know I’m not perfect, I make mistakes just like everyone else. Don’t forget we are human, but Jesus died for us and that’s why we should go to Him and ask for forgiveness. To be honest with you, I should be dead sleeping in my grave. But because of God’s grace and mercy through Jesus, I’m still here. It’s all because of Jesus, I can’t take any credit for it. Without Jesus I am nothing, I can do nothing, I can’t even talk or walk without Jesus. I can’t even move my little finger without Jesus. Jesus is everything to me. He’s so kind and loving that He woke me up this morning and started me on my way. My life is nothing without Jesus. That’s why I gave my life to Him to let Him mold me and shape me the way He wants me to be. Yes, for God so loved the world.

How many of you know that God didn’t send His Son into this world to condemn it? He sent His Son to save the world! Jesus didn’t come to make a deal - He is the real deal. Yes, my brothers and sisters, Jesus is the real deal and it’s good news. About 2,000 years ago God sent His Son Jesus as a human being. He was fully God and He also became fully man; He lived a sinless life even though He was tempted just like we are tempted, and remained sinless. But because of our sins, He gave His life. In other words, He died on the cross for us. Really, He died in our place — we deserved to die. But He gave up His life for us, then He rose from the dead. He became sin that we might become the righteousness of God in Him that we might live eternally with Him. Yes, my brothers and sisters, for God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus. Through Him we have everlasting life.

So I ask you to get to know Him for yourself. If you don’t know Him, it’s so important to give your life to Him and make Him your Lord and Savior. All you have to do is repent of your sins, just say: God I have sinned against You, forgive me. I believe in Your Son, Jesus. I believe He died on the cross for my sins. And I give my life to You. Make me who You want me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
