A Faulkner County woman won a quarter of a million dollars on a once-losing lottery ticket.

Marilyn Scott of Conway won $250,000 by using the Play It Again option on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s website, ASL officials said in a news release.

Scott bought the ticket at Lim’s Country Corner on Highway 365. On Monday, her ticket was drawn and she was awarded the money.

Scott told ASL officials she first shared the news with her son.

"Marilyn’s initial reaction was shock and surpise, she said she has no plans for the lucky prize at the moment," the release stated.
