The Conway City Council will hear a presentation on finishing out the Conway Expo Center in a committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Russell L. "Jack" Roberts District Court Building.

The regular council meeting will follow it at 6:30 where, among other items, aldermen will consider appropriating more than $2.7 million to finish out the Expo Center. Both meetings are open to the public.

The council will also consider three rezoning proposals and one conditional-use permit request.

The Conway Planning Commission recommended the council approve rezoning property at 3600 Donnell Ridge Road from I-1 (industrial) to R-1 (residential), rezoning property at 1330 S. Donaghey Ave. from A-1 (special) to O-2 (office) and rezoning property at 4825 College Ave. from A-1 to PUD (planned unit development).

Aldermen will consider changes to the traffic management program and discuss whether to ask Metroplan to switch funding for the Springfield/Des Arc Bridge grant to the Dave Ward Pedestrian Bridge project.
