Hope and Compassion Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit organization that works with people struggling with addiction, celebrated its partnership with the Conway Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.
The ministry held its ribbon-cutting ceremony about a year after moving into its downtown office at 1105 Deer St. in Conway.
The ministry strives to serve addicts on a one-on-one basis.
"We want to focus on getting to the root of the problem, setting them up for future success," Founder and Director Gary Hogan said. "We mainly want to focus on functioning addicts. People who can work, but don’t have the ability to get the help they need because of finances."
Hope and Compassion applies biblical principles to help people overcome their addictions.
If someone is struggling with an addiction, they can call to set up an appointment at 501-514-1625.
