The Faulkner County Quorum Court will consider a new position in the County Attorney's office and an appointment to the library board during its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Courtroom A of the county courthouse.

The meeting is open to the public.

Justices of the Peace will consider an ordinance to create a new position — legal assistant/secretary — in the County Attorney's office.

Additionally, the ordinance would require "redefining position code 1101 from Human Resource Officer/Assistant County Attorney to Human Resource Officer." The position is currently held Whitney Doolittle.

They will also consider a resolution to confirm V. Suzann Waggoner's appointment to the Faulkner County Library Board.

Faulkner County Judge Jim Baker appointed Waggoner.

Current board member John McGraw will present an Address of the Library during the meeting.

The Animal Control Committee will also give a presentation on Tuesday.
