Arch Ford Record Destruction: On June 29, 2018, the Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative Early Childhood Program will destroy special education records of students who were transitioned and/or were dismissed from special education services in the program on or before June 29, 2012. This is in compliance with the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR at 34CFR76.734). Parents and/or guardians may obtain any records in the folder prior to June 29, 2018. 61st Annual Arkansas Dairy Foods Contest: Wednesday, May 30; Little Rock; The contest is divided into two categories: Main Dish and Party Ideas. Each county may enter one recipe in each of the two categories. Students enrolled in 4-H aged 9-19 or in the 4th through 12th grades as of Jan. 01,2018, and living in Arkansas may enter. Home-schooled students may also enter. Entries must be approved by the county dairy committee or by the county Extension agent. Each contestant must agree to participate in the state cook-off if his or her recipe is selected for the semifinals. Local entries must be received for selection of state finalists by April 27,2018.

Conway Boogie for the Buffalo River: 1 - 9 p.m. Sunday, June 3; Almost Famous Smokehouse and Grill, Hwy 64 E in Conway; The event will feature several local musicians volunteering their talents to the cause. BRWA will have speakers and information about current developments central to animal waste pollution affecting the Buffalo River, America's first designated national river. Donations will go to the Buffalo River Watershed, an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization.
